Tamada

Regrets, I've had a few, but at least I've never wasted my precious time on Earth listening to Drake albums like some of youz lot lol. PSA, Tamia's comeback single is still 2018's only good song outta Canada, and that shit now has a video:

Tamia - Leave It Smokin'
(From YouTube; 2018)

From Drake and Celine Dion to Michael BublĂ© and Mindbender Futurama, Canadians have always been varying shades of horrific when making music about love/lust. Thus, it's a major miracle that Tamia can drop a Legit Bedroom Jam 4 Ladies & Gentlemen Alike™ 20 years after So Into You.

Between this song, Miguel’s “How Many Drinks”, and “Come Through & Chill” the solo version Salaam Remi has been a far better r&b producer than rap producer in recent years.

“So Into You” is obviously a classic but my fav Tamia song might be “Officially Missing You”

We should all be thankful that Salaam Remi is giving his beats to R&B singers rather than Nas

How dare you suggest that Canadians can't do #GrownAndSexy Rap/R&B.

Not heard that album, but I liked the single Sandwich And A Soda.

Yeah that was her best album. Polow da Don, The-Dream and Pop & Oak (Sandwich & a Soda) gave her some dope stuff on there.

Easily the best album about being in love with a current/former NBA player. (Grant Hill)
