Most rap journalists ain't nothin' but models for pigeons on t-shirts, so fair play to David Drake for interviewing Husalah on Noisey. You wack like World Cups if you're not down with Golasoaso, so consider this to the soundtrack to Hus' kicking limitless wisdom to Drake about slaps and science:
Tailor Made [ft. Mob Figaz] (1999)
Die Young [ft. The Jacka & Too $hort] (2001)
Hus G. Rap [ft. Kool G. Rap] (2002)
Hustlin' Ass (2002)
Pigeon On T-Shirt [ft. The Jacka] (2005)
Since '88 (2005)
Hus Hudson Life (2005)
Blind World [ft. The Jacka] (2005)
Sleep With Da Fishes (Boom Clack) (2006)
Murder On My Mind (2006)
Cuttin' It Up [ft. B-Luv] (2006)
Through The Night (2006)
B.I.T.C.H [ft. Dru Down] (2006)
Frozen Heart (2006)
Shock The Place [ft. The Jacka] (2006)
Live Life Illegal (2006)
N*ggas Out There Mine [ft. The Jacka] (2006)
Talk It Out (2007)
Fighting The Feds (2007)
Yea Baby (2007)
Stupid Dumb (2007)

PS - never forget that this happened:
Somehow the rap game reminds me of the craic game!

You could go all day w this man n his loosies but gotta shout for Husalah Shine, Zestways, Money n Death To My Enemies.
Someones def one of the greats when you could list 30 10/10 unique monsters spanning a decade plus n not be a third the way complete
I rly wanna know what Hus said to Robbie
Imagine if he confused him for Roy Keane.
Gotta have been some classic "americans do football" snafus, wish Id been following him on twitter for the last world cup. He does seem like a real fan but how much of that is just the beautiful n gorgeous jerseys.
Also DD says the Paul Wall song is on the album he heard n its not as good as youd think but I refuse to believe this + need closure man
Only ever listened to Hustlin' Since the 80s so looking forward to someone makin a zip of this one.
Always heard that Hus' was big into soccer, following some European teams and championships and all that, like in that one video : https://vimeo.com/28964864
Hus' top 3 Arsenal players:
Jacka Wilshere
Brian MacGovern
Julio Blaptista
I hope Hus isn't into the MLS. Fucking state of this 😂😂😂
In hindsight, Granit Jacka would have been a better pun than Jacka Wilshere.
Dippin', yokin', Chevy ridin clean/
fully spray the crowd like Robbie Keane
mad about the exclusions of:
Stay Silent
Fell In Love With Crime
Husalah Shine
Laid Back Slap ("Hotter than a radiator cap!")
that bonus track that samples Jewel ("You sayyyy you want to kill")
husalah shine & fell in love with crime >>>> fighting the feds
that reminds me, 'love how it feels' is my fav jack + hus over old school sample flips
thanks for the shout tho! lol
Quite a few cuts I haven't heard def need a zip of these asap and Huslin Since da 80's is a personal classic to me.
GTFOH with the Fighting The Feds slander, Drake.
Hus the human subwoofer >>>>>>>>>>>>>> I Fell In Love With Crime
Yeh Husalah Shine might be my fav n I Fell In Love with Crimes amazing but BAP BA BADADA BAP
Also 100 Rounds In The K is prob better than any of the other ones I mentioned. If your not implementing quotes from this interview in your life already youre losing.
It's Kinda Hot is #actually the Huslin' Since Da '80s glaring omission from this list.
One of the most impressive things bout that album is it OPENS w a song sampling Manu Chao which manages to be dead hard.
"We just campin' out with the cannons out!"
Defo haven't heard some of these before
No lie, I'd totally slept on 100 Rounds In The K.
Its off Explosive Mode 3 def top 5 Mob Figaz album its so good
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ckgbBXjU_-Y
the recycled verses sound better on it too imo, even the Murder Somebody one
That best not be Murder Somebody slander in my comments 😠
Its sacrilege but I heard it first they sound harder, its only a few bars though
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_sB9VjfhdFA
WE AINT LISTENING WE CANT HEAR YOU WHEN YOURE WHISPERING YOUS A COWARD YOU AINT OUT HERE
coming through with a zip
http://www60.zippyshare.com/v/SOvDWTGo/file.html
I did this for myself just as much as for anyone else I'm playing catch up with all this stuff. I also added the comment section songs in to my own personal zip
👍 Hotbox.
Just banned Donal and reported him for abuse.
oh yeah 100 rounds in the k is needed also
its actually better for ppl to go through his stuff on their own than worry about a best of IMO there's not even that much of it!
Oh yeah where's "Project GTA" ...
Lazy rap internet motherfuckers aren't going through Husalah's catalogue "on their own", especially when some of his key songs are spread across obscure compilations, and other key songs aren't even on Spotify because they were random loosies or from Datpiff mixtapes.
no "Cutty"?
That one's not a favourite of mine.
upside of Husalah not blowing up is theres no label suits going back n wiping a load of them obscure classics off the internet.
Its harder to find some shit online now too, feel like theres stuff that woula used to been on some blogspot thats only available to buy off some extortion artist now. I was delireh looking @ Town Thizzness bandcamp the other day but theres kinda fuck all on it, maybe theres itunes for them though I suppose.
There's an early Husalah song on the same compilation as Jack's Mac Hand that I can't find anywhere online. It's called O To The Sto' and features Rydah, AP + Freako.
Yeh been looking for that too, forgot my pw for the bay area forum I used to get a lot of this shit
Only thing w/ 100 rounds in the K is that Jacka's verse is >>>>
Not sure if you found (“O”) To da Sto already (was also included on Freako & Rydah J. Klyde’s album and some other projects under a different name), but it is also on the compilation that Rob Lo just released (‘DAT Tapes’). Might be worth a listen.
I didn't know about this RoLo album. Cheers 👍
