I ain't arrogant, this is confident!

The boy MC Shan might have had a point about beat biters, but hook-jacking in rap is a wholly acceptable practice as long as the guilty culprit song is better than the song(s) it jacks. For recent noteworthy examples, see 5th Ward Weebie's Let Me Find Out Part 1 banging a trillion times harder than its dull namesake by Doe B, and Looni's Right Now being better than the countless other Right Now songs from the past 12 months which preceded it.

If, however, your jacking is slacking then you deserve to be sneered at for being a thieving twat, and attention should be drawn to the superior original songs as team Martorialist did earlier this year when both NMB Stunnaz and Rolls Royce Rizzy ganked Lil' Chris' Godamn, and when both Lil' Reese and 2 Chainz gaffled RJ's Shoulda Coulda. Since Ace Hood & Rich Homie Quan's We Don't is now a bona fide hit, it seems only fair to point out that the song bit its whole shit from this deep cut offa that recent Gangsta Boo & La Chat album:

Gangsta Boo & La Chat - Can't Sit With Us
(From Witch album; 2014)

It seems like t'internet views the Gangsta Boo & La Chat album as slight when compared to the BeatKing & Gangsta Boo mixtape, but I like Can't Sit With Us here ever so slightly more than anything on the latter. Boo definitely redeemed herself in a major way this year after spending 2013 making music with Spanish Trap-Rave producers and Mishka interns.

Gangsta Boo & La Chat album is very underrated.

"Buss It" is the one.
