Every corny "U.K club mix" of a Rap song CJ Mackintosh hacked out in the late 80s/early 90s was worth suffering to get his remix of Whitney Houston's Queen of The Night. The lumpen original transformed into Diva House tremendo. That shit rivals K-Klass' remix of Bobby Brown's Two Can Play That Game in the canon of incredible U.K remixes of U.S pop singles.

Are 90s/00s "Real Hip Hop" acts slumming it with the snowghoons or have The Snowgoons lumbered themselves with a bunch of also-rans and never-weres? It's not like most of their US collaborators were ever that good, even in their prime (MOP and Wise Intelligent aside). It's not like Reef the Lost Cauze was ever Golden Boot status.
I was specifically thinking of M.O.P and Onyx who were definitely elite for their 2nd album.
That whole period of 90s greats sullying their legacies with phoned-in collabs with bork producers and half assed indie albums made on a shoestring budget was fucking grim. Proper nail in the coffin stuff.
