Obligatory wrap-up post of those songs I've played most during the month of Small Man, Big Moo.
Sheck Wes - Chippi Chippi (2018)
Homeboy Sandman & Edan - The Gut (2018)
Mouse On Tha Track - Let Me In (Martorialist edit) (2018)
70th Street Carlos - Wake Me Up (2018)
Lil' Peep - Cry Alone (2018)
Other notables: Mutumbo by 10k Caash & Rico Nasty is a bit of a slap tre-rando; favourite thing about RobLo's Dat Tapes compilation is that it contains an early Husalah song I've been tryna find for a while; that new BlocBoy JB track Licks where he says "they put a charge on my jewellery for aggravated blinding" is cool; I'm On My Way is the only song on Boosie Blues Cafe where he really pulls off the album's Son (Lava) House concept, imho.
(Chippi Chippi finally started making sense to me when I realised it evokes the same sort of dystopian rotten apple vibe as Group Home & Alchemist's Stupid MF's. Who'd have expected that from Desiigner 2.0?)

RobLo is album of the month for me
Why did the Boosie not work for you? IMO I think he needed better producers and that off beat flow he’s been doing lately isn’t it at all.
I know it's in advance, but can we get a 20 year anniversary of best songs from 1999, similar to what you did for 1998?
Anonymous 1 - beats were too bonkempi keyboard street busker + it was more amusing than endearing.
Anonymous 2 - there'll be 1989/1999/2009 lists in January.
Just need Boosie and Mouse to do a true collab on some Batin Rouge shit.
I still wanna hear Boosie over some Trel Itz A Hit.

Never trust Neil Kulkarni. A lesson I learned after his glowing Melody Maker review of Wu-Tang Forever back in 1997.
