Soundin' like Mr Bloggy

"‘Don't Stop Movin'?’, I stop every time I 'ear your music
How the fuck'd you get caught like that?
Cannabis? More like smokin' crack"

Oxide & Neutrino ft. various So Solid members - Rap Dis
(From the Rap Dis (U Can't Stop Dis Sh*t) single; 2001)

Anybody else ever hear the rumour that Farrakhan and J. Prince had to be called in to squash the beef between Neutrino and Bradley McIntosh from S Club 7? Never forget that the original "too cold" version of Rap Dis featured a different Neutrino verse where he called Bradley a "coconut", libeled George Michael when insinuating that The Dreem Team were poofs, and threatened to break into Miquita Oliver's house, strip her naked, and rob her at gunpoint before his record label forced him to re-record the lyrics.

This Amazon UK review of the Rap Dis CD single = Da Capo best music writing of 2001:

I used to be mad to cuff Miquita But dunno if I could handle interacting with Lily Allen.

Strange that the best album to come out of the SSC camp was Swiss' solo LP given he was a producer turnt rapper. Always thought the rest of 'em were terrible though.
I was playing at a bar in Ibiza back in '07 when Neutrino turned up with his boys, and then proceeded to look a bit bewildered as they all scooped up the 18-30 San An wimminz and he was left on his jacks.
Cool story etc

One of the hardest UK tunes ever.

I stopped buying HHC the month they put Oxo & Neutragrain on the cover. Always thought it odd that a crew would name themselves after the quality of their bowel movements.

The bass from this tune injured someone somewhere.

Romeo's a great MC but his solo songs are so terrible it defies logic. And this is coming from an American who genuinely enjoys and appreciates "Shake A Leg", thereby negates any possible input.

Also, shout out to Wiley appearing on the remix of Martorialist's favorite Auskralian rap record of 2014. I refuse to believe your protests of innocence after this.

America embracing Iggy but not Lady Sovereign = anti-UK bias.

In my great nation's defense, by the time Sov tried to break in the US, she'd already run out of good singles (AKA "Cha-Ching" and that's it).

Plus, gigantic King Magazine Model vs. midget hipster is a one-sided war no matter what accents come in.

Lady Sovereign's big mistake was failing to mention she's a lesbian until appearing on Celebrity Big Brother long after her rap career had evaporated.
