FrankieThaLuckyDog = trendsetter

If you're a true Frank Calhoune aficionado you'll instantly recognise that the song soundtracking the #JukeboxChallenge is T-Lo's All Day from Frankie's Underground adds series on YouTube. Frankie gets braggin' rights for first posting about the song back in 2008, while the kids who originated the challenge get authenticity stripes for dancing to All Day rather than the slightly less-obscure Derty & Boosie song from 2009 with the exact same beat and a suspiciously similar hook.

How's Boosie gonna drop 4 albums thus far in 2016 but not include the song with Foxx from this studio session on any of 'em?

Frankie is a legend indeed and dude if you're reading this I can't really tell you what to do with your life but you should leave the donut making for regular people and get back in the game. Or get another regular job that isn't as stressful. You were hollering Gates years before any of the publications and now look at him. Don't worry about getting acceptance and making friends with artists or them sending you cd's that's for normal regular folks

Frankie usually turns up in the comments of any post he's mentioned in, but if he doesn't then you need to start a #DumpTheDonuts campaign on Twitter.

Interesting post... FYI: This was tha 1st time I heard T-Lo's "All Day", back on March 17, 2008: http://frankiethaluckydog.blogspot.co.uk/2008/03/review-73-detrane-jigg-city-radio-vol-2.html

I appreciate tha comments. With tha donut shit, I'm tryin' real hard to break away from it, like, BADLY!! We've been so short-handed almost every day, for months now, with me mainly at tha front counter by myself! I feel like I'm gonna have a stroke every day and I be havin' anxiety attacks, especially at night! I can't get no coverage to get more than one day off to go away and it's fuckin' with my priorities... On Monday, I was like, "I might finally get back to try and complete tha video countdowns I shot years ago that I need to edit." Then again, tha distractions come!! Yesterday was so stressful with management a few minutes late/not knowin' what they're doin'. Not to mention, tha owner came to me and said, "You're lookin' sloppy today." Like, I was clocked out and ready to leave. Plus, runnin' around like a fuckin' asshole by myself, what do you expect? It's not like I wear an apron on tha floor, as a Shift Leader... Then, today, only two people (my assistant & I) worked till 7 AM; TWO people in tha building?!? We used to have SEVEN by 6 AM!! I ran around like a lunatic (baking, puttin' out donuts, makin' sandwiches, checkin' dates, serving tha counter, serving tha Drive-Thru & shit). Also, my assistant, who's tha most-hated, had to brag that I ain't help her later on, but I wasn't around her. Oh, if I ever didn't show up at that place, they'd be doomed! My family, friends, music connects & err-body keeps tellin' me to call off and I don't listen to 'em for some reason. It's 11:06 PM and I gotta be up for 3:00 AM to go in at 4:00 AM 2morrow morning. I'm like, "Fuck sleep," but I napped long today 'cause I had to get my shmoke on & hang out, after all tha bullshit!

It's really stressful and posts like this/my Louisiana past almost makes me wanna cry 'cause I feel like, WTF happened? Because of DJ B-Real, I decided to get a job, but it's so bad...!! Yeah, it's more for "regular people;" I feel too old for it, especially that I'm 5 - 10 years older than most of them. One thing that gets me pumped up about leaving my job, whenever that happens, iz that it gon produce anotha upcoming video countdown. I gon have my Top 100 Most-Memorable Songs While @ Dunkin' or somethin' like that and I can't wait for it! Most of it prolly gon be from 2014, since with everything goin' on, nothin's really memorable, now...

I'm not really worried about tha acceptance shit, that much, but everything's gotta get back to tha way it was, without my brother or not! I neva understood why I never get CDs and shit from Louisiana artists. I'm one of tha "most-respected" (in quotes, since I can't tell tha true value of "most-respected") DJs for Louisiana music and err-body don't be sendin' me shit, anymore. That's anotha reason why I don't be gettin' my hands on much shit, these dayz...

But yeah, gotta suffer this anxiety; gotta open with my manager 2morrow and I don't feel like sleeping/gettin' up! But, I guess I need tha money, for now? I used to love my job for what it was, but now, it's just for tha money! Oh, I pray every night for a change! First bad even-numbered year since 2002; what's goin' on?!? I thought I was old enough to not make bad decisions? FML!!!
