This ain't no rebound, go for the block
The time runnin' out, look at the clock
And when we need points, go for the shot"
Eat Em - Trophy
(From YouTube; 2016)
If a Space Jam 2 movie ever happens then this shit should be the soundtrack's equivalent of the Quad City DJ's title track. Much like Twista's theme from that NBA Live game, you don't even have to give a shit about basketball to appreciate that Trophy is catchy af. Only a real NBA YoungBoy could rescue a concept previously mishandled by Audrey and do it in a song that's 80% hook - watch for the verse on some inverse Cool Breeze type shit.
Remember when Jermaine Dupri remade Kurtis Blow's Basketball with Bow Wow & Fabolous? How come rappers rarely ever remake Kurtis' good songs?
