Can't argue with this tbh. Nice to see Tone Loc get a look in. Was more of a Funky Cold Medina fan back in the day. It's still the only song I've ever done at karaoke (once)

Excellent list, as always. Was under the impression that Audio Two's Top Billin' was a 1988 track as well, it seems I was wrong as it dropped in 1987.

It's great that rap today doesn't resemble any of these songs. When I want something that's barely moved forward in 40 years and prefers instead to recycle its cultural high-points over and over again, I'll listen to some rock music.
