You got me mixed up twisted like an Arabian gymnast if you thought I was never gonna put together a best of Dru Down playlist. If you were to combine the DNA of Hanna-Barbera's Snagglepuss and Pomona, California's Suga Free then you'd end up with East Oakland's D Squared. Deep down and dirty, he grew up hella early, here's a playlist of my favourite song by Pimpy Doo.

Dope. Might have to do a Boosie one.
Suga Free too
I did do a Boosie comp way back in the zippyshare days.

Given the Suga Free invocation I'm surprised you didn't include "Game Tight"
Favourite Dru Down guest verses?
Also shout out to Underestimated, Suspect One, Hoo Ride, Fools From The Street and Everywhere I Go.
Also, what happened to him between ~1996 and the late 10s? A few joints here and there but no consistency?
Good song but it belongs to Suga Free dunnit.
I might edit the playlist to include its sequel Don't Shoot The Pimpin'.
He always sounded great on the Luniz songs he appeared on between 1994 to 1997. Deep East Oakland is a classic D Squared guest appearance too.
I guess he had a good A&R for his 2 albums on Priority Records.
Aw shit nice one! One of my favs baby bubba
If youre gonna do afeatures one too its gotta have the one w mac dre and cobra-slidin.
Who else could make “where you work - the airport? The air force. Of course. It looks like you play sports” make perfect sense. Of course, it looks like you play sports.
Dru down also an important figure in Wanna Go Home core after his jailhouse freestyle from that reality show. In a better world knocking out the Grindin instrumental w a coin/pen on a lunchroom table woulda made every beatboxing busker extinct long ago. Even Tree couldnt make it happen :(
Hoet Laureate material.
Alligators and horses! 🐊🐎
Well done. I'd like to write in "Live Yo Life" with The Luniz even though he doesn't drop a proper verse.
