Generic list post: April 2024

Obligatory wrap-up post of those songs I've played most during the month when I came across a Sid The Sexist ceramic ornament. Sidney meditates in a room with 1000 candles lit listening to some B.I.G shit. Speaking of Bad Boy Records rappers, celebrate G. Dep's release from prison with my G. Deep Cuts playlist.

G. Dep - Dollar Bill (1998)
Binary Star - Masters Of The Universe (2000)
YG - Knocka (2024)
Brotha Hung Lynch - Da Siccness (2024)
Tommy Richman - Million Dollar Baby (2024)
Pete & Bas - Mr Worldwide (2023)
Nine & Dex - Pecan Pie (2024)
Flo & Eddie - Keep It Warm (1976)
Vincent Gallo - Her Smell Theme (1985)

  1. That Binary Star album was on heavy rotation back in the day.

You watched way more films than me this month 🎬.

The Lavender Hill Mob is arguably a top five Ealing comedy and one of the GOAT Brit flicks.

What did you think of X? The latest trailer for MaXXXine has me kind of hyped.

  2. Me watching more movies than you? Wtf is going on?!?

X was great. Body horror of the Tobe Hooper variety. Always trips me out seeing Martin "Stu from Shortland Street" Henderson in a Yank flick.

  4. I have. That was a * rewatch because I saw it at the cinema.

  5. Did you buy Sid The Sexist?

  6. Certainly did. They had a Sandra from The Fat Slags ornament too, but I didn't cop that.

What I REALLY want is a Roger Mellie ornament.

  7. Grand Puba sighting on some new Saigon album with a euro producer.

  8. Youtube recommended me that a while back. Was hoping for some Top Shelf 8/8/88-core but it sounds like the Ugly Duckling & Puba song 😶
