Eat Em, Beat Em

Eat Em & Spitta - FaceCard
(From InduSTREETS The Mixtape; 2018)

Gotta love a video featuring a cardboard cut-out of the Rapper's mixtape cover. Nowt fancy here, just a firm handshake-core anthem by the Baton Rouge rapper who looks like young Tragedy & the Baton Rouge rapper who isn't Curren$y.

Bonus beats: Trophy was such a (space) jam. Still is, in fact.

[1]new ice cube's album is out tho, according to my experience with about half-a-minute of checking singles out thAng is absolutely NOT worth listening(as usual with cube and all old LA rappers with the exception of dj quik), gucci mane's clone's album is, as expected, hunnid percent hot garbage

[2]speaking of ice cube pt.1, https://youtu.be/EktO-YHPTsA -- undoubtedly his best rap metal effort (this one > family values versions of his tracks with koяn >>>> studio versions of his tracks with koяn)
[3]speaking of ice cube pt.2, https://youtu.be/Ki9g_dIi-LU -- well forgotten ice cube's weed carrier; for some reason listened to his album and boo yaa tribe's west koasta nostra heavily around 2012

[4]france, the last bastion of listenable trap music, gave up this year finally, kaaris new music is dissapointing

  2. You've gotta pretend that Mack 10's Connected For Life was the last song Cube rapped on. That's what I do anyway.

Man, that Mr Short Khop & Kokane song is ill. Might be a late entry into my 2018 Late Pass! list.

GuWop actually predicted his cloning on his most underrated album

    https://youtu.be/9RvoxWT63zU

and we finally live in the era when the most popular type of comment under every kreayshawn video is the statement that whitegirlmob was an underrated movement
btw, v-nasty was probably the very first rapper to adapt db tha general's stylistic inventions(literally was mentored by the mane, mama kreay also connected)

Kreayshawn: “I’ve known him since 2009. One of the artists I was filming before, DB Tha General, Lil B was his biggest fan. Lil B was always hitting me up like, ‘Yo, tell DB Tha General I want to make songs with him. Help me get in contact with him.’ And DB’s crazy, he’s on his own hype. I don’t even think he understood what Lil B was trying to do."

  4. When Kreayshawn was interviewed in The Guardian she said it was DB's manager who convinced her to start rapping. As I've said many times, Lil B was the member of The Pack with the deepest voice until he heard DB Tha General in 2007.

One of Yung Cat's weed carriers made a serious "Gucci Mane has been cloned, yo!" song 😂

    chapter 3

    [1] https://youtu.be/11t2QN-Du3s -- fresh carlos
[2] https://youtu.be/LAOnMzNN1hU -- the actual best song from somethinboutkreay
funny that she had sissy nobby on her album waaayyy before drake discovered triggerman(despite being signed to neworleans rap company) and been using some electro\jjfad type beats way b4 lanechangingpt2 and benny\young dant\robbioso paul hardcastle remixes(but distant enough from fergie's solo album and late90s ny beats sampling 80s jams[some busta' stuff and gtaIII soundtrack])
[3] https://youtu.be/zMrT_-kp9qg -- in traditional nomination LA ARTISTS JACKING BAY AREA STYLES the winner is Blueface with his
    fearless
    бесстрашный, неустрашимый, мужественный, безбоязненный
    intrepid
    бесстрашный, неустрашимый, отважный, бестрепетный, безбоязненный
    dauntless
    бесстрашный, неустрашимый, бестрепетный
    slimmy b rip-off
absolutely bloody fucking amazing нахуй, like shoreline mafia wasn't enough 4already
[4] https://youtu.be/-j7U11E-Z3s still ain't managed to listen to the whole project, but this dope, on par with keak's withdrawl
[5] https://youtu.be/d3O3lXof-Ww https://youtu.be/ObNL_3RYKqU there was a recent documentary on j kwon, so, revisiting the album, it's important to say that this is a better industrial hip-hop than anything el-p ever recorded

  6. I like Respect My Crypn by Blueface. The talk shouldn't be about how he raps offbeat but how he needs some better beats than those stale ratchet leftovers/fake Bay tracks with little slap factor that he tends to rap over. That whole default sound of 2018 L.A street Rap is boring, imho.

    chapter 4!

[`1]https://youtu.be/A4SWlaDrvhg Benny and his Benny gang dropped a good track, but UNFORTUNATELY not a mixtape with rapping over paul hardcastle beats https://youtu.be/R5reD2ZPzAI https://youtu.be/RxztrO74JO0 or anything similair to talkin shit by robbioso https://youtu.be/QS02Fs4gFFo https://youtu.be/0cWno4CGE54
its sad cause it seems like the absence of that project makes benny think that he is good rnb singer and not a good howling rapper and also his slow songs all sound like aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaasssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss
[`2]of all bootleg sobs x rbes, family ties were as cliched as everybody else but for a couple of tracks managed to be nice with it(I still don't understand how shoreline mafia got big)

  8. Shoreline Mafia being Brockhampton if they met in the No Jumper comments rather than on the KanYe West message board was the realest shit I wrote in 2018.

  9. That guy really does look like Tragedy

  10. I think what rly fucked up drakeo RJ, any of them lads is that modern LA production, mustard type beats hit that lex luger saturation point yrs ago n theyre still chugging em out its the most samey anaemic shit. Its like every decade la rappers find a production trend to suck dry

  11. YG's last album too.

This is why 1TakeQuan's Grub Hub is my favourite song of 2018 from that whole L.A wave - cool string sample + crazy low-end.

  12. That Short Khop & Kokane song makes me think I need to revisit that album cause I bought it back in Middle School when it came out and didn't really like it but I might think differently now.

  13. Kokane's toupee in the video 😁

Lookin' like X-Pac's wig when the n.W.o parodied the 4 Horsemen.

  14. this is an actually-dope shoreline beat that still sounds west coast
