Another mystery solved!

Ah, so it was Easy Mo Bee who produced Nas' Life Is Like A Dice Game. Surprised to find out it was recorded in 1995, though, because I always thought it was a pre-Illmatic demo. If I was a real Nas Stan I woulda known that already - he mentions his daughter Destiny being born on the song and Google tells me her year of birth was 1994.

  1. Ah no way, cool. He had his kid in one of the videos for singles from 94 too iirc. This was the one song that I thought shoulda been included on Illmatic too.

I need to step my demo tape game up, feel like I missed a window on the internet where they were dropping all over the place.

  2. I need to know if Understanding was pre or post Illmatic.

  3. Yeh good call. Biz got the short shrift in the 90s, his De La, Beasties n tribe unreleaseds were flamo n all.

Deja Vus the one ppl always went mad for but idk, plus half the verses got used.

  5. I think first heard Understanding on an S&S tape in 96 so would assume it's post Illmatic

  6. The promo 12" with both songs on dropped in 1996, but I reckon Understanding was definitely recorded years earlier. Nas mentions Ill Will in the present tense on there and he was killed in 1992.

  9. Thoughts on that plum Fantano getting murked in the media right now for his edgy meme channel? He's actually friends with that human garbage Sam Hyde so have no sympathy

  10. I didn't really understand most of that piece, but Fantano been #problematic.

That said, the main reasons to loathe Fantano are still his annoying face, his terrible dress sense, and his ranking of Operation Doomsday as the 4th best DOOM album.

  11. Not sure what's worse: Fantano or his sycophantic fans, who hang on to his every word?

BTW: Could you tell Gloss to reactive my account, blud?
