His jeans have gotten tighter and his polo shirts have gotten snugger, but the Big Dawg's thirst for music stays unfadeable, baby. Ya host has already written the definitive tribute to Westwood, so here's a generic list post of 60 songs I've discovered via the Big Dawg over the years - a mixture of classics, personal favourites, and deep cuts. Money mad aside, Timothy Westwood is an oxygen thieving cloaca. Only a matter of time before he's revealed to be another Jonathan King, Jimmy Savile or Edward Heath.
ReplyDeleteGreatest living English man, imho.
ReplyDeletei can't believe bbc jettisoned westwood for that prick charlie sloth. instead of breaking proper music and getting crazy freestyles from legends we get fucking memes.
ReplyDelete"I haven't danced in about 10 years..."
ReplyDelete"So that's why you make dubstep..."
^^^ A G.O.A.T quote.
ReplyDeleteluv this list
ReplyDeleteEvery time the ting goes skraaaaa I think bout all Tims comedy gold Id rather hear
Always thought 'African War Chant' was some Westwood jingle. Dope.
ReplyDeleteI can get behind BBC firing everybody and getting new ppl to keep the station fresh but Westwood's one of those rare instances of a DJ staying relentlessly contemporary and hungry. Sloth was never someone who sold out venues and knew how to work a crowd he's just a bad to mid tier UK rapper who jammed his way in there somehow.
ReplyDeleteYou should make an Audiomack playlist out of this
ReplyDeleteThat would take forever and some of the big hits on here would get deleted in a day.
ReplyDeleteFare to say makes sense
