Generic list post: 2014 rap songs that new Kendrick Lamar joint is better than

Moral of this post: 'tis better to admit enjoying a corny Kendrick Lamar song which casts vague allusions to Suga Free & Digable Planets than it is to have ever stanned for any of these chunks of shite that the world is all the more worse a place for for their existence.

1. Anything by Makkonen
2. Anything by Schoolboy Q
3. Drake - The Catch Up
4. Anything by Your Old Droog
5. O.G Maco - U Guessed It
6. Cam'Ron, Juelz & assorted leeches - Dipshits
7. El-P & Killer Mike Ft. Michael Winslow - Oh My Darling Don't Cry
8. Sicko Mobb - Lonely
9. RiFF RaFF - Time (LP version)
10. A$AP Mob - Hella Hoes
11. That Wiz song with J & Pat where he does the cod-rasta voice
12. Rowdy Rebel ft. Bobby Shmurda - Computers
13. That last AZ song which let me down when I really needed some new AZ
14. 98% of all 2014 NYC rap, tbh
15. A-Wax - Trap Dere

A special layer of Hell is obviously reserved for any new music Joe Budden, Ryan Hemsworth and any of the rapists from Das Racist dropped this year.

  4. That's the one. His rapping on it was way too earnest for my liking. I want more slick shit like We Movin'.

  5. man sorry but Schoolboy Q - Studio is a pretty great slice of radio approved pop rap. only song i've enjoyed from him though.

  6. I'm curious what NYC rap you might be referring to?

  7. Where is "Lifestyle" in your list?

  8. Basically all 2014 NY rap other than '88 Coupes, Boss Ass Bitch remix + Yasss Bish!!, and the JuJu & Tragedy Khadafi disco song.

Queezy, I already had 2 Young Thug-related songs in there. Lifestyle is great, but I've listened to About The Money and YRN more.

  14. I thought you were joking about liking "Fancy".

  15. No Flex Zone never really clicked tbh, No Type spoke to my soul+hole. the girls in the Left, Right vid get best supporting actress.

  16. "Computers" is a terrible song, but Bobby shouting "I THINK THAT I'M TOM CRUISE (TOMCRUISETOMCRUISETOMCRUISE)" is way better than this k-os record Kendrick's offering up.

  17. Do you not like any of the million Gucci joints released this year? 'Top In The Trash' with Keef is a banger. Gooch had one of my favourite lines this year too, with "I SMOKED AN OUNCE OF SOME SHIT I CAN'T EVEN PRONOUNCE".

  18. Not listened to any of Gucci's stuff this year yet.

  19. SGP guy always with the uniquely terrible opinions

  20. King Louie - God (and God King)

Also I know you don't like Meek Mill but On the Corner.

  21. To Live And Die is my Louie cut of the year.

  22. I was playing in the Red Hot Buffet & Bar at Liverpool One yesterday lunchtime. Knew I'd be hearing it in the real world a lot but didn't expect to hear it there or so soon.
