That feeling when you're a Rap Guy™ but Rap isn't fulfilling your current existential needs. It's precisely 2 months tonight since I last went the pub and my heart yearns for the booze, the burgers, the banter, and even the bookie with the dodgy racing tips. Rappers can't do nuttin' for ya man Marty on this issue, so I've gotta turn to Aussie Punkers for some audio aloe vera. Never mind The Orange Organics, here's The Bogan Moronics:

Oi ginger singer from The Chats - are you Marmaloid in disguise?
Bonus bogans: Toto, I have a feeling we're not on Ramsey Street anymore.

ReplyDeleteThere's a new film coming out in a couple of weeks that evokes strong Wake In Fright vibes called The Royal Hotel. Managed to already see it and liked it a lot.
ReplyDeleteFound out it's inspired by Pete Gleeson's real life documentary Hotel Coolgardie which might actually be even scarier than the The Royal Hotel after seeing it. It's available on Freevee and highly recommended, if you haven't seen it yet.
Aw shit. They both look very much relevant to my interests. Cheers.
ReplyDeleteWill the movie be getting a cinema release?
Don’t know which cinema chains will have it, but it’s released in the UK on the 3rd of November.
ReplyDeleteFingers crossed one of my local spots has it 🤞
