Nowt by Lil' Peep because the one song of his I liked was ruined by the guest bloke who sounded like someone from a Pitchfork podcast.

  1. Has any mc ever littered their verses with their own name as much as Pacewon? He was killing around '97, with all those Pacewon rhymes.

  2. I should probably add that I used BigSleep's They Reminisce blog for reference here.

  3. i like the guest verse on 'girls' its a good contrast, not someone you'd want to hear a full album from but a solid guest verse as those go

  4. As well as sounding like some corny Pitchfork podcaster that Horsehead lad also ruins the whole sanging vibe of Girls.

Stop producers rapping on their songs, imho. Did ppl learn nothing from the time Alchemist damn near ruined Hold You Down?

R.I.P. Eastside Stevie: ASAP Yams - Thugged Out https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WSVdEMxBfdI

And Lil Snupe - Intro (to DJ Mustard: Ketchup) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y7TrurY2M_s

Whose death inspired one of Meek's best songs IMO https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZUaYU2KQoSs

  10. This is a real trip down sad blog post memory lane!

(I only liked one lil peep song too, but I've gained an appreciation for him thanks to Thomas and David Drake, and I felt sad and kind of touched (no sexual misconduct victim) reading his obituary. But when that "horsehead" guy popped into the "Girls" video you linked I burst into a cleansing, mean-spirited cackle.)

  11. Just realised you already posted ketchup intro, deepest apologies

  12. Why couldn't God have taken Horsehead instead of Lil' Peep?™

I got no idea how Gov Mattic died, just remember a handful of R.I.P posts.

Biggest producer loss since this site went live has to be Larry Smith. Supa Villain would be the most promising loss.

And, of course, R.I.P to Matthew Africa, Yams, and Gary Warnett.
