I got a G-Dep playlist for those who consume shit, I love to do it like Jennifer Love Hewitt.
Why? Because G. Dep's music was simultaneously butta and gutter, word to mother, go ask your brother, even when Dep was smokin' sherm he never succumbed to the 1993 Ced Gee stutter.
How? By collecting the Deputy's twelve best songs starting with five late '90s indie-era joints, six gems he recorded during his tenure with Bad Boy Records, and the one highlight from his attempted late '00's comeback.
nice
ReplyDeleteWhere's the download link?
ReplyDeleteSet to dl now.
ReplyDeleteNever forget that time when Dj Premier and Fred Durst bonded over a mutual G. Dep love:

(OG source from the man Premier himself is here for my french-reading dawgs out there: http://www.abcdrduson.com/interviews/dj-premier/ )
Wow, that's beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI can admit it, I jocked G-Dep. Bad Boy mk. 2 was highly underrated. History will vindicate Puff.
ReplyDeleteNice cheers
ReplyDeleteBest of Loon.... coming soon!
ReplyDeleteNo it isn't (set to download)
ReplyDeleteWorks for me
ReplyDelete"Child of the ghetto" is pretty much Dep's best song, but Cam made the better version
ReplyDeleteI might marginally prefer the Everyday remix to Child Of The Ghetto.
ReplyDeleteAlso not important but it's the kind of stuff I geek over, the joint with Black Rob has the same sample that Wu-Tang weed carriers' GP Wu's Black On Black Crime: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1JOd2LHDubE
ReplyDeleteSample is Yesterdays by Paul Chambers Quartet.
ReplyDeleteDo you have any info on that Automatic track?
ReplyDeleteThat one, How, and Blak N*gga are all unreleased tracks recorded in 1996 around the time of Head Over Wheels. No idea who produced any of them.
ReplyDeleteAlright, thanks! Had the other two, but not that one.
ReplyDeletehey, could you set this to DL again plz? can not find "how" anywhere!
ReplyDeleteHmmm. Audiomack seem to have changed their entire settings and there's no download option anymore.
ReplyDeleteI'll zip it up and upload it to Zippyshare sometime over the weekend when I get home.
