How many Leonard Cohen songs you got on your phone, bruv/luv?

Like Sun Ra, Patti Smith, Fela Kuti, Tom Waits, and post-2010 Lil B, Leonard Cohen is one of those artists who people pretend to adore but nobody actually enjoys listening to. Don't even dare front like you rap-internet melon farmers can name any Leonard Choen songs other than the one Christian Slater used as his intro musik in Pump Up The Volume and/or the one Alexandra Burke covered because dude was just an indie-jukebox Chris Rea who'd never recorded anything which jams as hard pon street as Road To Hell. Remember, my dears, I can smell a lie like a fart in a car, and there's somethin' stank in the air right now.

  4. You have to see my dad rap the middle verse of "Suzanne" to really get it.

  5. Shocking how there hasn't been a blu-ray release of Pump Up the Volume yet.

  6. Would ideally come with a special download code for the CDQ version of the Beasties' Scenario that he plays in the movie.

  7. Can you imagine how unbearable the media's gonna be when Robert Allen Zimmerframe eventually carks it? I enjoyed Arthur Smith's Leonard Cohen stage show but have no intention of ever owning any LC recordings. Not for me/of my generation. My money's on Joni Mitchell next.

  8. If Leonard Cohen and Bob Dylan are such great artists, how come there's no notable rap songs which sample their shit?
