Renegades Of Nonce Part 2
The story that's far too juicy to be confined to one post, even when I've wasted all my best jokes and puns in the aforementioned post's comments. 5 brief thoughts on the Afrika Bambaataa nonce allegations of 2016:
Turns out that the politician who claims Bambaataa used to molest him as a teenager had stripes in Bronx rap history: back when Ronald Savage was nicknamed "Bee-Stinger" he used to work for DJ Jazzy Jay at Strong City Records, he's mentioned in the thanks lists on a grip of golden-era rap albums, and he even got a shout-out on Busy Bee's Old School track in 1988.
Dead @ the unfortunate irony of a kid Bambaataa diddled being known as "Bee-Stinger", though. Bee-Sting/beasting - lol geddit?
Yesterday Star's Shot97 show broadcast a new allegation from another fella who claims Bambaataa coerced him into sex when he was 17 years old and looking for a record deal. His claims are too convoluted to get into here, so let's just say his tale of visiting Bambaataa's record label casting couch is very different to the stories EPMD and Craig Mack told in their respective versions of Please Listen To My Demo.
A rumour has also since emerged that Bambaataa allegedly touched up the late Sipho The Human Beatbox from Big Audio Dynamite and London Posse sometime during a U.K tour back in the '80s. This probably explains why people in the U.K have known Bambaataa is gay for decades, whereas the only people in the U.S who knew about Bambaataa's sexuality pre-internet were the teenagers he molested and the inner-circle Zulu Nation members who turned a blind eye to his noncing in order to protect the man who wrote their paycheques.
Remember the huge kerfuffle when Q-Tip asked Lil' Wayne to join the Zulu Nation and at least 50% of the organisation's members were apoplectic with rage because they claimed Wayne didn't represent da 4 elementz? Notice how all those same Zulu Nation members have suddenly gone quieter than church mice now these allegations about their organisation's head honcho have come to light. Southern rappers - officially more evil than kiddie-fiddlers, apparently.
Fire post.
ReplyDeleteI'm in lurk mode here haha.
ReplyDeleteI like how Star kept it old school by disguising the interviewee with an electro voice.
ReplyDeleteGot any more details about that Sipho rumour?
ReplyDelete@ Dr Freudstein - true lifestyle synergy there.
ReplyDelete@ 78 - Not sure if Sipho was actually underage at the time, but I don't think he was too pleased about Bambaataa feeling him up.
of course he was because how did everybody hear about it. Sipho was often seen with Bambaata, whenever he came to the London and those rumors persisted that sipho was gay. That could be a reason why he killed himself
DeletePlease please show some respect for my brother
DeleteClassic post.
ReplyDeleteIs this a troll post or is da originator of da 4 elements and da hip hop cultcha really a queer?
ReplyDeleteThe guy who supposedly stabbed Bambaataa a couple of years back after Bam allegedly drugged him and then tried to date rape him has now come forward.
ReplyDeleteThis just keeps gettin' worse.
ReplyDeleteThis is wild shit.
ReplyDeleteLast paragraph is scathing, good post.
ReplyDeleteWhy is DJ Vlad taking so long to interview Lord Jamar about this?
ReplyDelete^^^ just what ive been wondering.
ReplyDeletejamars been getting so steadily gassed in his new position im mad to see how he handles this
been waiting on something thatd make him snap tbh
Remember when Vlad had Jamar and Star on his couch together a couple of years back to talk shit about Yelawolf and whatnot?
ReplyDeleteVlad needs to re-unite them for the Bambaataa reaction video since it was Star who broke the story.
So, I found out the rumour about Sipho & Bambaataa supposedly happened at the Electro Rock event in London in 1985 and he may have tried something with one of the breakdancers from London All Stars too.
ReplyDeleteNever knew Craig Mack did his own "Please Listen To My Demo"
ReplyDeleteThe politician says a Zulu Nation member offered him money to keep quiet and he has it on tape!
ReplyDeleteAfrika Bambooty and The DooDoo Nation
ReplyDeleteZulu Nation are already distancing themselves from Bambaataa on some "nothin' to do with us, m8 - he ain't even technically our boss any more."
ReplyDeleteWatch for their next statement.
😣
ReplyDeleteBam is a dance music artist who saw that this new genre of music was capturing the attention of the youth and bam exploited hip hop for his own twisted gain bam is not hip hop ...HIP HOP IS A VICTIM OF BAM TOO!!!
ReplyDeleteThis makes me question what B-boy really meant
ReplyDeleteThe fucking UZN are a bunch of weird elitist cult cunts and I hope it all implodes on them. To be a paedo is bad... to know a paedo and cover up is fucking despicable! I heard the reason we hear " zuh-zuh-zuh-zuh-zuh, zuzuzuzuzuzuz..." on Planet Rock or whatever paedo tune it was, was because he couldnt speak with a kids nuts in his mouth. Fuck off and die Bam and all you Zulu cunts!
ReplyDeleteNo that was mr biggs.
ReplyDeleteIt's true two people from the uk committed suicide because bam batty molested them now I am hearing two Bronx river men too
ReplyDeleteStar was so gakked up on some of those vladtv videos. They've subsequently been removed. But yeah, old school uk heads knew the coup about bam. You know how you lose your inhibitions on holiday...
