Cam'Ron & A-Trak ft. Juelz Santana & Just Blaze - Dipshits
(From the internet; 2014)

Not feelin' this at all. At best, it's what someone who discovered Dipset via Pitchfork's review of Purple Haze thinks a Come Home With Me deep cut would've sounded like. At worst, it's the rap game Grudge Match.

Until Cam makes some more songs with Sen City, I'm going to pretend he's currently on a hiatus from rap.

  1. Song is okay but the hyperbole about it is ridiculous.

I have my reservations about it but couldnt resist copping a ticket.

  7. Me and a couple of mates do fancy it, but I don't trust Cam to actually turn up/not cancel the day before after we've arranged hotels and whatnot.

  8. I think part of the excitement for this is that the beat doesn't sound like a 64kbs myspace rip. That and the video has all the signifiers of DIPSET BACK.

But as far as actual rapping, there was much better stuff on Ghetto Heaven. Which incidentally was written off by a lot of the same bloggers that were loving this song.

  10. A-Trak also contributes nothing other than wearing CRC violating leathers.

  11. Cam only really sounds good talkin' shit over lazy/hazy/wavy beats at this point. He's definitely not suited to bombast any more.

  13. feels kinda like when films that are a remake do a NOD TO THE ORIGINAL in a scene or something except it's the whole fucking song

not here for the meme-isation of cam'ron tbh

  14. The video going dead is definitely a sign from Allah that he doesn't like this song either.

  15. Every time I hear Cam'ron enter that triple time flow for no reason, a small part of me wants to get poisoned. Namely the part of me that was a kid and still wonders if his verse on "Pull It" may have been the unfortunate cause of Eminem.

I'm more or less praying Juelz Pimp C's on us so we can stop watching this man disintegrate into being literally no better than Saigon before our eyes.
