And the comment of the day award goes to..

Zee homie Bryt Burken :

The pre-Life Is Like A Dice Game Nas demo with Eric B has just been usurped from its # 1 spot in the pantheon of unreleased Rap shit I need to hear before departing this mortal coil. I'm gonna hit up Rob Breezy and see if he can persuade the Block Beattaz to give up the goods.

All $tar/$tarlito - Oh Em Gee
(From I Love You, Too Much (The Necessary Evils) mixtape; 2009)

  1. oh no they did ehnt.

I think the Rednex are ripe for sampling as trailblazing exponents in the 90s of banjo-heavy 'country shit' (see also: Gridlock - Swamp Thing). ''Pop In An Oak'' could easily be adapted to appear to concern letting off a luger while sat in a tree.

Suggest a white trash/hillbillyish rapper like Yelawolf or Machine Gunderams Smelly tackle it, possibly in the video they could square dance and swig moonshine, spilling it over their dungarees as it leaks through the meth-riven gaps in their gums. Cut to a prairie, a dilapidated barn, and a dead horse, rotting.

  2. That track was released. It's on Mata's "Countdown To The 100 Day Theory", and is called "Stoned" featuring Jhi Ali: http://indy.livemixtapes.com/download/mp3/163110/mata_feat_jhi_ali_stoned.html

  4. Corpsey, I do believe I've also advocated the Block Beattaz sample Cotton Eyed Joe in one of my previous Jackie posts. Needs to happen.

Thanks, Soft Money. You've always been my fav' Tumblr-er after Stevie RNT. That shit is incredible.

David, it's gonna be a debut to rival AmeriKKKa's Most Wanted, IMO.

  5. @ Martorialist: In regards to shorthand themed songs, I just want to take this time to reference Danny Brown's L.O.L. It features one of my favorite lines of all rap history in the second verse opener, "Ni**a hit me on the sidekick sayin' he gon' shoot me, soundin' like a real groupie." Well, that's about the extent of it. Hope everyone is having a good day.

Jackie Chain's album dropping isn't a myth? Non-bandcamp? Like a real album such as Yo Gotti's super mythical "Live from the Kitchen" which has a new, more futuristic date every time I check? Rivaling Amerikkka's most wanted is the most beautiful thing I've heard today.

they had the good instincts to turn cheeze trance hit Children into the brilliant Rollin, so I guess theres nothing they cant do...
