AZ shares his name with AZ/Azie from the group MobStyle who was Harlem's answer to Supreme, but there was no actual connection between him and the other Harlem guys like Rich Porter, Alpo and Fritz and all the 5 Crowns/Supreme Team guys from Queens.

Well, other than them possibly using the same Columbians to buy coke from, I suppose, but, no, there's no connection between rapper AZ and the Supreme Team.Kelvin Mack10ziehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17520899595495383643noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5006567597939825751.post-58236653232806316562011-09-11T06:13:17.311+01:002011-09-11T06:13:17.311+01:00Here's an article that states AZ took his name...Here's an article that states AZ took his name from a Supreme Team member: http://33jones.com/blogentry.asp?EID=472Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5006567597939825751.post-19653719206076833202011-09-11T06:05:19.100+01:002011-09-11T06:05:19.100+01:00Was the 50/AZ beef at all connected to Ken McGriff...Was the 50/AZ beef at all connected to Ken McGriff and the Supreme Team? I thought AZ named himself after an actual Supreme Team member? I don't know what AZ's link to Supreme is if any but with the complexities of the old NY beefs it would at least make sense that the 50/AZ beef stems back to that period.. I'm no authority, just a conjecture..Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5006567597939825751.post-70828081459098223642011-09-09T11:36:11.710+01:002011-09-09T11:36:11.710+01:00Shucks.Shucks.Kelvin Mack10ziehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17520899595495383643noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5006567597939825751.post-46707135265595741722011-09-09T03:15:48.824+01:002011-09-09T03:15:48.824+01:00Cot damn, Neither of those.Cot damn, Neither of those.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5006567597939825751.post-34807268475614580942011-09-08T09:50:17.494+01:002011-09-08T09:50:17.494+01:00I'm guessing you're probably referring to ...I'm guessing you're probably referring to When Death Becomes U and/or Big Boy Game?

What I meant in the post is that the I'll Whip Ya Head Boy remix was by far their hardest jam to emerge from their tenure on G-Unit.Kelvin Mack10ziehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17520899595495383643noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5006567597939825751.post-55570449437731825232011-09-08T02:03:36.535+01:002011-09-08T02:03:36.535+01:00Oi oi, There were two leaked M.O.P.
