Riddle me this, Backpackman: how come I generally love Quelle Chris and usually hate Aesop Rock but the version of Homeboy Sandman's Lookout I dig is the remix not the original? Cannae pinpoint an answer for that question meself, all I can tell you is that this shit transports me to a parallel universe where London's Mr. Bongo record shop still exists and I'm still tryna get a refund from Kish for that crap Non-Prophets EP he recommended me.

I bet it was that 'Bounce' 12". I bought that there too and swapped it/gave it away a long time ago. Still remember the day I bought '5 Boros' and 'The Visualz' in the same visit, though. Brings a tear to me eyes.
Gotta love any record shop where I could cop Operation Doomsday and a near-mint copy of Spoonie Gee's Street Girl 12" in the same visit.

It's a total mystery how record stores such as Mr Bongo's went out of business. After all, you recall that anecdote of trying to blag a full refund on their wares so fondly.
I'd have settled for a credit note so I coulda bought Black Attack's Rep Da R.I 12" instead, thankyouverymuch.
